WHO IS LISA OPEL?

Hi, I’m Lisa Opel.
And no; I’m not here to fix you.
I’m here to hear  you.

It All Started With Shame

Like many stories worth telling, mine starts in the dark. Shame around my body. Around sex. Around asking for what I wanted.

Which is wild, because I hadn’t always felt that way.
I’d been a kinky bunny most of my life — no shame, just spark. I worked in a fetish shop. Loved the scene.
I was the one people came to when they needed lube advice and life advice.

But then I became a mum. And somewhere between the sleepless nights and the saggy leggings, I lost my lust. (Should’ve AirTagged it, honestly.)

AND THEN I RECLAIMED MY PLEASURE

And that’s when the shame crept in. You don’t know what you’ve lost ‘til it’s gone. And when what you’ve lost is your sense of desire — your spark, your self — it hits deep. So began a long, messy, beautiful journey of finding my way back. To pleasure. To power. To knowing what I like, what I don’t, and what I never want to pretend to enjoy again.

First, I wrote naughty stories. Then I started sharing them. Then I built a world around the parts most people are too afraid to speak out loud.

Now? I’m a writer, (TEDx) speaker, podcaster, workshop leader, and your trusted confidante.

I hold space for the stuck, the curious, the aching, the secretly horny, and the gloriously “too much.”

WORKING WITH ME

People say talking to me feels like a confession, a relief, or a therapy session that gets you hot and heard.

I’ll never promise to fix you. But I will listen like your secrets are sacred. I’ll hold space for the sticky stuff; the desire, the shame, the weird questions, the longing. There’s room for all of it here. All of you.

So come as you are. Horny, heartbroken, hopeful, healing. I’ll meet you there; no judgment, no filter, just deep honesty and maybe a cheeky wink.

Why I Do This Work

Because no one taught us how to talk about sex. Because pleasure isn’t a luxury; it’s your birthright. Because feeling alive in your body is radical and revolutionary. And because I almost lost everything, including myself, when I lost my libido and had no one to turn to.

Then I started writing. I turned my breakdown into a breakthrough, and turned pleasepinchmehard into a movement. Now, everything I create; my books, my podcast, my sessions, my workshops, is designed to help you feel more at home in your body, in your desires, and in your own skin.

FEATURED IN

I REPEAT, I AM NOT A THERAPIST. OR A DOCTOR.

(And I Don’t Want to Be One to You)

Let’s be clear — I’m not here to diagnose, treat, or therapize you.

I’m not a therapist, and I don’t pretend to be one. What I am is something else entirely: a confidante, a sounding board, a soft space where your thoughts can land without judgment or analysis.

Sometimes, we don’t need a clinical intervention — we just need someone real to talk to. Someone to say things out loud with. To bounce ideas off. To explore the unknown with a little laughter and a lot of honesty.

Maybe you’re testing new language. Maybe you’re trying to make sense of your own story. Maybe you just want to hear someone else name what you’ve been feeling but couldn’t quite say. That’s what I’m here for.

And if we reach a moment where deeper support is needed — know this: I have a rich network of trusted therapists, somatic practitioners, sex educators, and specialists I can guide you toward. You’re not alone, and you’re never stuck.

This isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about giving your questions room to breathe.
